Yet it seems some readers appreciated hearing details of the daily existence of a person with quadriplegia. It's not that easy to imagine being unable to lift food to one's lips, unable to dress or undress, unable to blow one's nose or scratch an itch, or turn over in bed let alone get out of bed, and unable to control one's bladder or to poop. But to live a normal life? Is this possible? Apparently it is, as we learn this guy has lived this way for more than twenty years, as long as the right kind of care is provided.
