Beloved sister!
I love your natural candid nature, and how speaking your heart never stops you from putting your hands to what needs doing. :-)
Grateful to hear a gathering of many to celebrate your Majesty!
I am at peace, in some senses of the word. Two hospitalizations in the last six week, caregiving shortages and magical financial sustenance enduring just to the edge of winter. Very little stable in the outer world, and yet………
I have a cup of coffee by my side, yummy cold brew which I love. The mantra adorns my computer screen, calling out from behind this little window of text, ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ. The window is open to the right of me, hot summer air coming in to be taken up by the ceiling fan spinning full blast overhead.
I keep returning to my heart and my awareness and wondering where a new move into creativity may surface, many ideas, much clerical to catch up on.
The PICC line dangles from my right arm, the tube in through the bicep approaches the heart. Once a day antibiotics flow through.
The heat wave in San Diego is mild, comparatively, but aligns with a sense of liminality nonetheless. Passages within passages within passages seems to be the beat of the drum.
Mother and daughter and sort of son-in-law in town from Thailand for one more day. Looks like Middle Eastern food for lunch today. Thanks to the corner market.
Still playing catch up from the hospital, but something about it feels natural, like a tributary spring flowing down through the brush towards the river wide.
Thinking of you all with love! :-)
